PRODUCTION & TIMELINES
-
Most projects take approximately 6–8 weeks once all materials have been received and approved.
Specialty vinyl, custom packaging, fulfillment services, or optional test pressings may extend timelines.
-
We do not offer guaranteed rush production.
If you're working toward a specific release date, contact us before ordering and we'll discuss what's realistic.
-
Usually, no.
We provide digital audio approval before cutting and perform quality control throughout production.
Skipping a test pressing can reduce production time.
-
A test pressing is a physical sample used to review playback before full production.
It includes:
Black vinyl only
Object Permanence center labels
No final artwork or packaging
Pricing:
100–500 units: $150
501+ units: $100
-
Yes, but changes at that stage require restarting portions of production.
This may require:
New lacquer cutting
New stamper creation
Additional mastering work
Additional costs and timeline extensions will apply.
AUDIO & ARTWORK

No.
Streaming and vinyl are different formats with different technical requirements.
Vinyl mastering takes into account groove spacing, stereo width, frequency balance, and dynamics to ensure proper playback.

Every project is reviewed before production begins. If adjustments are needed, we'll let you know before moving forward.
-
Yes.
We offer vinyl audio preparation, artwork review, packaging guidance, and additional production support where needed.
REPRESSING
-
Yes. This is called a repress.
-
Stampers are typically stored for up to 18 months from your most recent pressing.
We do not store stampers indefinitely.
-
If you anticipate future represses, we recommend considering additional stampers during your initial production run.
A stamper typically produces up to approximately 1,000 records before wear begins to affect quality, though some projects may require additional stampers sooner depending on the audio program, vinyl formulation, and quality standards of the release.
For larger runs, we often recommend:
1 stamper for runs up to approximately 500 records
2 stampers for runs approaching or exceeding 1,000 records
Ordering additional stampers during the initial production process can:
Reduce future setup costs
Simplify represses
Help maintain consistency between production runs
Minimize the need for new cutting and plating work later
